New DigComp Inspiring Experiences webinar organized by the DigCompHub project on the use of DigComp in the DIGIGO project. The project developed a methodology to turn an apprenticeship into an opportunity for the digital skilling of apprentices.
The Erasmus+ project DIGIGO – promoting the digitalization of VET apprenticeships created and tested an approach and tools to support VET trainers and mentors working in the project partner organizations and other companies organize apprenticeships that enhance the digital competences of VET students and their matching with employers’ needs.
During the webinar, Katerina Maniadaki, EU project manager at IDEC S.A. (one of the DIGIGO partners), will illustrate the project’s motivations, how it was carried out, and its main results. She will highlight in particular how DigComp and DigCompEdu were used to design the training of trainers and to identify the apprenticeship hosts’ digital skilling opportunities and the starting point of the apprentices in this area.
