The AMS Career Information System provides a wealth of information about occupational opportunities in Austria, along with a rich description of 500+ professional profiles and the skills they demand. DigComp AT, the Austrian variant of the European DigComp framework, was used along with other sources to identify the digital competence requirements of all the professional profiles in the system.
During the webinar, Ulrike Domany-Funtan (fit4internet) and Wolfgang Bliem (ibw Austria – Research & Development in VET), who were involved in the developments and this initiative, will illustrate how the activity was carried out, the actors involved, the opportunities and challenges faced using DigComp in labour market initiatives, and future plans for the development of the system.
