We are glad to invite you to a new DigComp Inspiring Experiences webinar organized by the DigCompHub project on the new initiative called Legal DigComp to develop the digital skills of legal professionals in Spain, complemented by a presentation of the Pix+ Droit experience.
Observatorio Legaltech Garrigues-ICADE and Women in a Legal World have launched an initiative to promote wide awareness of the DigComp framework among legal professionals in Spain and to encourage its adoption by entities focused on continuous education and training. To do so, they have published a guide featuring use cases for the 21 digital competencies, tailored to the legal profession. They have also conducted a survey to analyze the level of digital skills in the legal sector and have established a Community of Practice to share experiences and build a network.
During the webinar, Belén Aguayo Martínez-Sagrera, organizer of the initiative Legal DigComp will illustrate this experience and its latest developments.
With the aim of stimulating the exchange of views and possible future collaborations in this domain at a transnational level, we invited Nathalie Denos, manager of the Higher Education sector at Pix, to briefly present the origin, development, and current status of the Pix+ Droitexperience in France. Pix+ Droit started a few years ago by defining a reference framework of digital skills for the legal profession. This led to adding specific questions on this domain to the Pix assessment and learning platform and offering a related digital competence certification service widely used by legal students of Law Faculties in French universities.
